What is this?
We will meet at the boat ramp in Bay Area Park @ 0830 for a put in @ 0900. The plan is to paddle north for 3.5 miles at which time we will return to our put in point; total length of paddle is 7 miles. Usually there is an abundance of wildlife to see on this paddle, including alligators, turtles, various birds and local flora. The weather is predicted to be hot, so dress for exposure and bring plenty of fluids. Should you wish to practice strokes, this a great place to learn. If you are interested in learning new strokes, instructions are available by the trip leader.
