Greenland paddle learn, practice and trip
About this event
We will share knowledge on proper paddling technique for Greenland and Aleut paddles and practice these techniques while tripping in the local area. We will launch from Kickapoo Marina, which charges $5/kayak. Going up Kickapoo Creek is a possibility, or paddling over.

Let's arrive in time to launch at 9 AM. Return time is flexible, based on our condition, weather, or other factors. I have specified 3 PM, but this is not fixed.
Non-Greenland paddle paddlers are welcome as long as they do not displace Greenland paddle users.
This is an ACA sanctioned event. All participants in ACA-insured activities must wear properly-fitting U.S. Coast Guard-approved lifejackets (Personal Flotation Devices, or PFDs) at all times during on-water activities. Non-HASK participants must sign a waiver.
Waivers - Please complete our easy to use online waiver if you are a HASK member who has not signed a waiver within the last 12 months or a non- HASK participant. Read the waiver carefully. You give up substantial rights when you sign it.
