The Buffalo Bayou Partnership sponsors this annual regatta for canoes, kayaks and surfskis down scenic and historic Buffalo Bayou. Join hundreds of paddlers for a fun event. Visit buffalobayou.org for further information or to register for the event. Or call 713.752.0314, ext. 101. Participants in the race must register and pay a fee. 

Everyone has a great time. You can race all out or go at your own pace. If you don't want to risk your own boat in the event, you can rent a boat, and it will be taken to the start for you and you just show up and paddle. How cool is that?  

Music and food at the finish. The biggest canoe race in Texas!!
