Trip Description: Make a leisurely paddle from Charlie's Bait Camp, to a facility-free island in Shoalwater Bay. Glorious sunsets and equally pleasing sunrises. If your trip leader can scare up a few redfish, we'll dine on ultrafresh filets one night. Areas to explore are unlimited. We can break into groups and exchange stories over beverages later. Check Google Earth for areas to explore. Insect repellant may be necessary. I will bring a "privacy" tent for the "privy". .

Hazards: We will paddle a few minutes in the ICY, so there could be barge traffic to negotiate. Mosquites and dehydration are the major concerns. With proper clothing, repellant and lots of water to share we should be just fine. We will watch the summer storm forecast closely before committing to the trip.
