This is a HASK social event to view the current MFAH exhibition, Georges Braque: a Retrospective.  More than 75 significant works by Braque are included in this exhibit, the first comprehensive display in the United States in 25 years.  One of the most influential painters of the 20th century, Braque invented Cubism with his friend and collaborator, Pablo Picasso.  The MFAH is the only venue in the U.S. to display this retrospective marking the 50th anniversary of the French artist's death.

Directions:
The Museum of Fine Arts, Caroline Wiess Bldg. is located across the street from the MFAH sculpture garden on Bissonnet street at the intersections of Main Street and Montrose Blvd.  Parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to the sculpture garden, the lot north of the church, and the parking garage east of the museum on
Bissonnet.
