Pack a lunch and come paddle the marshes on the backside of Galveston Island! Galveston Island State park has several paddles trails through the marshes. We'll start with Dana Cove and potentially link up with the other trails as the group wishes. Minimum paddle distance will be about 2 1/2 miles, and a max of 10 miles. Join for all of it, or just part of it!
Galveston Bay State Park is has locations on both the beach side and bay side of the island.
We will meet on the Bay side, at the back of the park. Entrance to the park is $5 / person.
