We will paddle from the end of 8 Mile Road in Galveston heading west and take a lunch break on a beach near Starvation Cove and return.  This is about an 8 mile round trip.

8 Mile Road is about 4 miles from 61st St and Seawall Blvd going West.  Portable toilet exists at put-in.

Hazards -- Sunburn,windburn, heat exhaustion, bottom-scraping oysters, pilings, boat traffic,  jellyfish, stingrays, fire ants. We will try to avoid hazards. Most importantly, bring plenty of water,sun protection and lunch/snacks.

Guests – You are welcome to join us for a couple of paddle trips.  HASK will cover the $5 ACA event membership for non-ACA members. Hopefully you will then join HASK and continue paddling with us.
