This is a Level 1-2 paddling/workout. Flat water. We can work on our forward stroke form and video each other using a Go-Pro from our boats and from a low walking bridge. I will be arriving early to do stretches and a medicine ball workout.

Easy put-in from a grassy bank. We are right behind the Hyatt Hotel so there are restrooms.

We can make a loop of the lake complex and that will be approximately 5 miles, or we can do sprint workouts, or both.

The address of the put-in is the Hyatt Place Sugar Land, 16730 Creek Bend Dr., Sugar Land, Texas 77478. As you drive into the Hyatt, go to your right around to the back. Concrete parking near the water and a short 150 feet to the water's edge to carry the boats. A little mud at the put-in but very easy.

Bring snacks, plenty of fluids, hat, sunscreen, and your best paddling form. This a short paddle - we will not stop for lunch. There are many places to eat after the paddle.

This is an ACA sanctioned event. All participants in ACA-insured activities must wear properly-fitting U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets (Personal Flotation Devices, or PFDs) at all times during on-water activities. Non-HASK participants must sign a waiver.
